Overlive: Gamebook and RPG App Reviews

This is a really unique game with action, a good story line and decision making which has consequences. I have never played another game like this and I will be looking forward to the next installment.

I cannot stand the mindless "shoot the zombies!" games. Overlive is a masterpiece combining well written fiction, a little bit of the shoot/slash/OMG theyre coming killlll them!!! action and strategy. I love that there are multiple endings. I love that you can replay as many times as you wish and, because your chosen actions affect outcomes, each time is a different experience with new challenges. I especially love that there are no further payments to make in order for the game to be playable. The developers have charged a fair price for a great game. Thanks for creating such a great game!

If you like text based adventure games and occasional battles with zombies, this is your game!! The story was good and the choices were realistic. Train, rest, explore!!!

I like it, I normally dont play games that much and few managed to engage me like this has. If you think its just another zombie game, it couldnt be farther from the truth. It has story, events, rpg like mechanics, and etc, eveything you want in a zombie game. So buy this now.

Overlive has is one of the best games I have ever played. The gameplay is fun and challenging. The story is great and the music and art tie it all together. I cannot overstate just how great this game is. You need this.

Fun game. You never feel like you have enough time, but that is the apocalypse for you. What is a survivor to do? Train, explore, battle and hope you make it out on time. I have found combat to be a bit difficult (swiping, not difficulty level). Otherwise, it is fun to explore and make the tough decisions. Recommend.

Great Game! Well worth the price! This is one of the few zombie apocalypse games out there that is actually somewhat accurate and enjoyable! I do have some suggestions that could help! - I think the map location markers should be changed from that google map icon to something else, It doesnt really fit the theme of the apocalypse! - Extend the map boundaries! I bet your already working on that though xD - Add a few more graphical designs for perhaps events and stuff! Overall Great Game! Keep up the good work!

This game is amazing and I cannot believe that hardly any people know about. Developers plsssss make a 2nd one

So far its a lot of fun. Ill edit once I play some more. Also, hopefully there will be updates and new places to explore.

Good game

I had a lot of fun with this game. Its definitely worth to pay for the full version, youll get plenty of enjoyable playtime out of it. The storytelling is fantastic and adventurous. My favorite ending is called "a bright new hope". It makes me wish for the continuation of the Overlive story. I hope for a sequel! I also liked "hero 2.0" - although a bit creepy. "Fortress of solitude" and the basic ending are kinda sad. Today I found the "bright new hope" ending and I think Im not going to search for the remaining four other possibilities - not because its not fun - but because I really, really love my last ending and its truly satisfying :)

I would like if you could customize your character more clothes and pose. Also maybe you could rest any where by eating or siting down but lose supplies (at least 5.). Also maybe find a silencer for your guns. P.S. The 3rd gun is found at military bunker or shooting the looter at the hospital. P.P.S. If you found it take that section off.

The engineering skill is untrainable. I found a repair kit that should open up a training option, but doesnt. This means engineering challenges are unbeatable. Its a neat game otherwise. All the interconnected events are nice, but theres not much plot.

This game keeps you on your toes the whole time. Every choice has a consequence.

I never buy games and I never write reviews. However, after playing the Lite version I was all to happy to spend the $2.99. Which isnt asking much. Ive played this game through multiple times and it doesnt get boring since its a little different each time. Wish there was a computer version.... Hint hint. Buy the game you wont be disappointed!

This really was a neat game, but the engineering training path--required to unlock at least one ending--is unaccessible due to bugs. Since the game was released in 2013, and still has this issue in 2015, well, a patch does not look promising.

I love the game its better then the lite version

My only problem with this game is that there isnt enough updates to improve the gameplay. No updates for weapons, skills, game endings, etc. I wish theyd invest some more in the game, after all I did pay for it.....

This is one of my favorite games in the App Store. Ive tried to find one like it, and there just isnt one. I love this game, and I highly recommend it!!

this would be a 4 star game if the train engineering was working. there is an event which unlocks it via a repair kit discovery, but it never shows up as an option. a number of events require this skill and you will constantly fail them without adequate training which is really frustrating. good storyline, fun gameplay, a little repetitive, but keeps you interested.
